Pompeii & Vesuvius by High Speed Train

An interesting and fascinating journey that gives to you the chance to vistit the ancient Roman city of pompeii and from there to the volcano which caused the destruction of the town rendering it  eternal.

Pick-up from your hotel is at approx. 06:00 a.m., and we transfer you to the train station, where our assistant meets you with your tickets and information for the day. At 07:00 a.m. departure to Naples with arrival at Central Railway Station at 08:10 a.m.. An assistant will be wainting for you.  At 08.30 a.m. departure by bus to Pompeii (the journey is approx. 45 minutes). Accompanied by the guide, you will explore the main features of the ancient city, including the baths, bakeries, and theatres just to name a few.

Free time at your disposal in Pompeii and then departure to Mount Vesuvius.

You will arrive up to 1.000 meters high, then you can walk up to the crater. The climb will take 30 min. approx.. Upon reaching the crater, a local guide will walk you around the crater.

Lunch does not include.

Return to Naples in the afternoon.

At 06:50 p.m. departure back to Rome from Central Railway Station (we recommend you to be at the Station 20’ prior).

Arrival at the Railway Station in Rome at 08:00 p.m.. End of services, drop- off at hotels is not included. You can return to your hotel by subway or by taxi, both available at the railway station.
